Higher Education Program session with SPARK

Invited by SPARK, Empower Advocacy presented an interactive session on “Online Advocacy” for students taking part in the Higher Education program implemented by SPARK with the support of the European Union in Lebanon.
The session covered the basics of using social media and online tools as a tool to advocate causes and ideas, the training session was lead by Empower Advocacy founder, Imad Bazzi, and Mr. Simon Van Dayke from SPARK.
SPARK is a Dutch NGO that offers access to higher education and supports entrepreneurship development in fragile states so that young, ambitious people can lead their societies into stability and prosperity. In response to the higher education crisis for refugees and vulnerable youth residing in Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Iraq/KRG, SPARK provides young people with a chance to continue their education in the region. SPARK also presents a variety of business and entrepreneurship programmes around the world.
